Russia launched a missile strike on a high-rise residential building in Dnipro, report Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Bakumov.

Ukraine’s Internal Affairs Ministry reported that nine people were injured in the attack, including one 77-year-old woman. Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhiy Lysak said that two floors of the building have been destroyed.

Klymenko said that as of 9:30 p.m. local time, three people sought medical care. Rescuers were working at the scene. Videos and photos posted on Ukrainian media and Telegram channels show damage to the upper floors of the building.

The Ukrainian Independent Information Agency also reported that Russia carried out an attack on a building belonging to Ukraine’s Security Service. This information was confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky said all necessary services were on site and pledged to “do everything to bring Russia to full punishment for aggression and terror against our people.”

The apartment building’s upper floors appeared to be in ruins in video circulating on social media that also showed smoke and flames.
